Kali Shakti: This art is the outcome of my spiritual journey through meditation. It is based on the Kali Yantra, which depicts the blessings of Goddess Kali with blossoming petals between the inner and outer circles, representing birth and death inscribed within the mandala depicted on a stable, cardinal axis in the Universe. With the blessings of the Goddess, we succeed in disciplining ourselves through the practice of meditation, and the miraculous outcome is an inward raising of our consciousness to our senses, accentuating our concentration on the triangular region of our face, narrowing down to the mouth, nose, third eye, and crown area. In this way, the Goddess helps us overcome lust, greed, hate, agony, and grief from within (depicted by the crown of skulls that she wears from left to right), leaving us with an abundance of joy with every breath we take.
